James’ company installed solar thermal panels as part of their heating system design. This involved hauling the panels on to the very top of the south facing roof.
I was roped in to hauling the panels onto the scaffold and then up onto the roof. I really don’t like heights either!
The window installation also started. The triple glazed oak windows and french doors were manufactured in Latvia. They are extremely heavy and have to be installed to maintain the air tight layer around the building.
